I did research to find out what single and multi-camera set ups mean and to find the advantages and disadvantages of them both. I also researched where they are usually used.

I didn’t come across any problems when doing this task. I worked independently as it was not a group task.

I researched a variety of different moving image formats, I the presented what I have found in a PowerPoint and gave necessary examples of these moving image formats.

The only problem that I found with doing this independent task was finding examples of different types of moving image formats.

This week we worked as a group to display the different types of camera movement. We then put a video together to display these using final cut and uploaded it onto youtube.

We found it difficult to use final cut pro as we have never used it before however worked well as a group and had fun.

This week we brain stormed ideas for our music video on a piece of A3 paper

We struggled on deciding what song to choose but have come to the decision of ‘pursuit of happiness – kid cudi’ however this may change. I think that we worked well as a team and everyone gave me there ideas and I wrote them down as well as my own.

We made a brief PowerPoint of our idea as we decided to change our song to ‘sub focus – turn it around’ we then presented this brief PowerPoint to the class to get their feedback. We were also all set tasks to do my role was the story boards.

We found that because we spent so much time deciding on what song to use in our video we didn’t have a lot of time to focus on our powerpoint however we have all agreed to use our original powerpoint and add to it individually.

We finished our risk assements, cast list and story boards and filmed all of our video in one night at the weekend.

The only problem that we encountered was that not all of the cast turned up to the video shoot.

We finished editing our video, it came together brilliantly and it was great to see all together instead of in separate quick clips.

The only problems that we came across where that some of our group didn’t come in throughout the editing process and therefore didn’t get there say in how the video was edited. We also struggled to find enough footage once we had edited the clips down to how we wanted them to be.

I added all of my pre-production to my blog for example I took pictures of my story boards and got my other group members to send me the risk assessment forms and the cast list. I also added our video to YouTube and then added that to my blog. After this is wrote an evaluation for this unit.

I experienced no problems with any of this and used the evaluation check list to help me cover every point I needed to cover when evaluating my work.
